You sure you want to post something like this on a public CLARINET board? It may get back to him. Not that your opinion isn't valid but you may be studying with this person for 2 years...this may start you on the wrong foot.
As far as double tounging and circular breathing, I know that Robert Spring has and incredibly successful studio that incorporates that kind of teaching. With the fast tempos that are taken today, double tonguing maybe a neccesity in the future

Bad form? I think not. There was nothing in the original post that was of any sort of questionable taste or anything else; however, bkmorton did bring up a point or two that was valuable about public questions.
There was nothing at all for Janey to be sorry about.
There are two moderators who read every post. Please let us make the decisions - oftentimes the decisions are made behind the scenes, so to speak, but I doi not want anyone other than GBK or myself to affect the tone of this BBoard.
