If this is true "In most cases a barrel with a reverse cone taper like the CLARK W FOBES barrel will produce the best results for intonation and response."
What is recommended on the Chadash or Pyne line?
I don't want a stuffy sound. I'm currently using the barrels that came with my R13's (Bb & A) but I've i used in the past 'Deg-Accubore M65' the ribbed models. I stopped using it in college because it wasn't the norm and I felt uncomfortable about it but my teacher in highschool said I played better with it.
Current Setup:
Buffet R13 Bb & A
Vandoren B45
Vandoren V12 3 - 3-1/2
Vandoren Optimum
Any imput or help ....thanks.
