I was checking the Vandoren site to find out how some mouthpieces I'm trying might compare with their standard facings and was frustrated to find that I can't try a similar lay as the ones I've got at the moment are 122 & 125 tip openings and Vandoren have nothing between the B40 at 119.5 and the B45 lyre at 127.
Why this gap? There are so many models, some just 0.5 apart.
They would have to miss out on the area I'm interested in. Maybe that's why I've never really liked them. I do possess one V. mp, but compared with the number of other makes I've had over the years I'm sure they've lost out on a good deal of business from me. Maybe not such a bad thing!

p.s.
Does anyone know the lengths of facing Vandoren use. They're only described as L, M, or S.
