I've used two methods to stregthen my upper lip.

First, I use double lip embouchure for clarinet.

Second, I take a large plastic soda straw, cut it into 4 or 5 segments and squeeze it between my lips when I drive, and at other times where people don't stare. That both creates a callus on my upper (and lower) lip and strengthens the muscles.
