The sound of children in the background is . . . children in the background!
This was a live, in-performance recording. We were playing after a picnic to honor the people who had done volunteer work throughout the year at the Old Salem Courthouse in Salem, NY, which has been turned into a community center.
The adults came inside the little barn/shelter house (four walls, a floor, and a roof -- not really any doors, just wide openings) to listen to the program. The children stayed outside and played games. That's what you hear in the background.
Thanks for all of your positive comments. Cambiata is working really hard to be able to play things people can enjoy hearing, in a manner that we as musicians can be proud of.
