... that's today's rate currency conversion to approx. U$195 - U$295
with Canada's almost par dollar $1-2 extra :-)
the Left pinky rock works this way for me
put pinky tip on Left Eb and curl pinky joint over pointed end of Bb, and hold position neutral until needed, then rotate the wrist (lift/lower) slightly, don't lift the pinky curl until have to take it entirely off, and yes, of course watch out that left 123 don't slide off while you're doing this, and yes, getting it 'plonked' just right in a curl to start with is part of the technique trick
this frees up Right pinky entirely to co-ordinate the C key as needed -- unless you need to fit in a C/Eb slide as well to make it easier to switch lefts and rights to negotiate the music fast enough
Haven't seen the music, are you also navigating Db's in Poulenc? If so, all the more practical reason to use Left Eb rock to free up Right pinky for C/Db slides
Good luck on your advanced Poulenc -- i'm still workin' on intermediate Gekeler I, p.45, #4 Hohmann (mid B nat to low B nat, C#, D#, low B nat, mid E) to get this left pinky rock technik down pat in sharps, i really should try transposing it down to Bb, and maybe do more snaked semi-tone 16ths up & down to the 5th on the left pinky, will that be Left F or forked F ... ?!
heh-heh {:-}
