Hey this is kind of directed at Chris - or anyone with repair experience! I have an older Loree and it works great but I have some clacking due to the worn cork strips. I have taken my oboe all apart before, and successfully put it back together for cleaning and minor repairs. Would I be opening a can of worms to try and put new cork on these areas (mostly under where screws are touching metal)? And if I do, can I just buy strips of cork someplace or do I need something special? There is no place locally that I would want doing this - so I would have to send my oboe away if I can't do it myself.
Thanks for any info.
