 Cor Anglais advice
Author: katycor

I am currently trying out a Kreul Cor Anglais (roughly 25-30 years old), which has been fully reconditioned and appears to play well, although it is quite thin in the upper register. Is this common? I know little about cors and wonder where the huge price differences come in. What more do you get for an extra £1,000?! This one is priced at £1,995. I also wondered about Howarth's S20 models, which start at £2,800. I would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks!
