Vintage Bob Mario / Chedville Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece
Bob Mario was a renown & highly respected studio and orchestra player in the LA area during the 50’s & 60’s
Per Chet Rowell, vintage mouthpiece historian, Bob used Chedville blanks to make his superb mouthpieces.
This mouthpiece is made from a Charles Chedville blank and is inscribed as such — C / C and Bob Mario.
It has the signature blank of Chedville 3 lines down / one line up and is stamped FRANCE on bottom left of table.
Markings are lightly hand inscribed and right of table indicates 045 (medium tip equal to a B45 ),
A barely discernible light ligature mark on back side, perfect tip, beak, rails, table, cork.
Mario mp’s were highly sought after and this one was made in the early to mid 1950’s.
