Hi, I am a clarinet player in West Virginia and I am going to klezkamp this year (my scholarship is paying for it otherwise it is too expensive). I am really nervous about how my technique is going to hold up. AS of right now all I have to help me is a few books and a book of tunes from Henry Sapoznik. I will be sure to let everyone know what it's like. Also does anyone have any suggestions about how I can put together a group to accompany me for a concert? I am doing an extensive research project and I am hoping that after Klezkamp, I will have acquired enough technique to present a live demonstration when I present my paper. The only problem is finding some way to accompany myself. What instruments would be the simplest? No one in my music department knows very much about klezmer. Thank you all for your help.
