I have at least one 78rpm by Mr. Beckerman, and it's a killer!
I also had the good fortune to talk with Sid Beckerman at one of the KlezKamps at the Paramount Hotel. He told me that he had a Selmer BT clarinet, and he always thought the BT stood for "Bacon & Tomatoe"!
By the way, I make custom-made CD transfers of my old Klezmer 78s for anyone that's interested. I fill up a CD or most of a CD for $25 US postpaid. E-mail if interested.
