I'm a clarinetist in NYC focusing on new and electronic music. For a school paper, I'm looking for pieces that combine electronic music for clarinet with world music influences. Beyond Lowenstern's "Sha" and David Krakauer's works, there seems to be little "academic" music with non-western cultural elements. I'm open to any culture, whether it's a folk melody, playing style, or world instruments in the electronic score.
