I only play Legere reeds...I play Balkan and other assorted Eastern European stuff. I like 'em, but I think that's cause I'm in Minnesota and the humidity (or lack thereof depending on the month) is so difficult to deal with!

When I had a lesson with Ivo Papasov, he said the Legeres "have no tone." I don't know exactly what he meant by that but he seemed to like my sound on the Vandy B45dot I was playing at the time...

I know other Bulgarian folks in Bulgaria love them....but these guys play really really soft reeds anyway, and the 2 or 3 I brought the guy in Bg who gave me lessons were too hard for him. I sanded them down a whole lot for him...lol!
