i need to know about the littel details of copyright lawas ASAP. i'm arranging music for a music festival, and i need to know if this will infringe on some laws. I have and own all the originals and will be giving full credit to the composer on the music. and if the laws are different in the Canada and the United States.

i think if u give full credit to them, it won't matter, (cuz we basically do that on quotes)

In the US, you MUST have permission of the copyright holder to make arrangements and perform those arrangements. Giving the person credit is NOT enough. He/she can sue you and if they do they WILL win and can collect damages.
