How do you improve your tone for a Bb clarinet? I have a tendancy of always being flat my reed strenght mouthpiece and clarinet are perfect. How can i bring up the pitch for a Bb clarinet

Sathish, it would be common politeness not to use the same user name as me.

I agree with, er, Gnomon about the name thing
I'm not a clarinet expert, just a novice, but it may be an embrochure problem (ie not tight enough???)
I have the same problem.

abviously your mouthpice and reed aren't perfect, not to be mean. make sure all your joints are together and no gaps between each. maybe move up a step in reed, (4 rico, 3 vandoren, 3 1/2 mitchell lurie). make sure your embouchure is firm. you might have to lip up your notes slightly. make sure your bottom lip is curled over your teeth and tight, so it's not cushiony. hope this helps.

And also be aware that the higher you go, the tighter your embouchure has to be. Use a tuner and do a 2 octave C scale and watch to make sure your in tune the whole time. As you ascend above middle c (c5) you'll have to tighten (slightly) up as you continue up. Hope this helps
