Do you any of you guys know what that tuning apparatus is called, where you hook it up to the chromatic tuner and place it in your bore (so u can tell if you are in tune or not if you can't hear yourself).

The Korg Orchestra Tuner OT-12 has such a thing. It's not a microphone but a clip you put at some vibrating part of the instrument. Never opened it but I thing there is a membrane in it - like in a microphone but without beiing in contact to the surrounding air. So it doesn't react to singing and other tones transmitted through the air.

Could be a piezo-electric pickup, which detects vibrations in the wood of the clarinet.

the word that most music store clerks probably refer to it as is a tuner pick-up microphone. You should be able to find it under that name.
