articulation isn't just for a Bb clarient, it's a general term for all instruments. articulation is how you play the notes(sticatto, accent, etc). it's the way you lightly tap the reed with the tip of you tongue. hope this helps.

The term ARTICULATION like Theboy_2 said is a general term for all musical instruments. It is a rudiment or command on the score that requires special care to a certain note given the signs or terms. E.g. staccato, slurs, tenutos, accents etc.
It is a very difficult part in instrument playing and takes a lot of patience and time to master but never possible to perfect. Articulation doens't only concern the way you toungue a note or how you handle your embouchure in a certain way, but also the theory of how notes co-relate with each other, say, the musical way of playing to connected quavers, should the second note be played shorter? etc.
