Hey I had a thought this morning as I was working on some reeds. Would any of you oboists out there who make your own reeds be interested in trading reeds? By this I mean you make a reed that you yourself would feel comfortable playing on, and then send it to me. Likewise I will make a reed and send it to you. That way we might learn something from each other, and have a better idea what we're actually dealing with when we talk about reeds.
When you send it, you'll need to find some way to package the reed so that it does not get damaged en route. Mailing them in a box or a padded envelope would most likely be preferable.
