Has anyone heard of or played a Simba clarinet? I just purchased one for my 8 year old daughter. Just wanted to find out some information on it.

You really should have consulted a clarinet teacher before purchasing. This is probably one of the pieces of Asian clarinet shaped junk. If so, no repair technician will work on it when it breaks.
It is best to stick to the plastic student instruments made by Yamaha (a Japanese company but top notch instruments), Buffet, Selmer, or Leblanc.

Although the price of Simba clarinet is low, it is poorly made and not suitable for playing as I understand. It would be better to use it as an ornament.
Using an ISO (Instrument Shape Object) will certainly discourage a child from learning that instrument.
Why not buy a buffer b12 ?
