I know who here plays flute, clarinet, oboe and such... But does anyone here play bassoon? One of the oboe players maybe? I've been borrowing the school bassoon for a couple months, and now they want me to play something, but i cant do much... can anyone help me with questions and stuff?

I switched from clarinet to bassoon in the middle of 8th grade - I love it! Now I play in a youth symphony in our community and have been to music camp. It's a great instrument - it can play a wide variety of music with great expression. My advice - stick with it!

Yes. I play Bassoon. My 5th grade year I played Alto Saxaphone. Then my 6th and 7th grade year I played basoon and my upcoming 8th grade year I am going to be playing Barry Saxaphone. Best of luck! If you have any more concerns, I will be here.
