Hi guys,Im looking for an affordable way to play gold,what is the must gold plated plated head or gold riser(gold plated pearl headjoint or emmanuel headjoint with gold riser.

If your talking about a flute, the riser isn't very visable. You will see the gold on the lip plate a lot more. The riser is the part that connects the lip plate to the actual headjoint base, so you don't really see it much. However, you shouldn't go by which flute lookes nicer, you really need to buy the flute that you feel more comfortable with.

i agree, but if you are going to spend money on a flute you will have to like it, including looks. Looks arent the important part of the instrument, but like i said you need to like your instrument.

thank´s for your answer but maybe I´m not explaining well I´d like to know wich one, the gold plating or the gold riser will afect the sound more in the way of the gold,but of course the looks is very important too.

I've heard that the few microns of gold that go into the plating have little, if any, effect on the sound.
