..at last, I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do this. (I do flute, tuba & others..) All I can say is that preferably do the flute practice first!!! After a few years it gets easier, but long note warm ups is probably the only answer.........good luck!

I play sax, brass, and flute... i find that practicing the higher notes (especially harmonics) helps me get back into the flute embrouchure

What about bassoon to flute ? I know Devienne the baroque composer was both bassoon and flute player. Any sugestion ? I sometimes also play my daughter's oboe, and don't normally have problems, but I needed something to relax, so I bought a flute. Is it normal to feel easier to play in a Piccolo w/o lip plate than in a flute ?
I would like to hear from you
Thanks.
Mike
