another question for my investigative purposes...how do you guys think vibrato should be done? Flutists/Oboists only please.

erm......
on my opinion
oboes & flutes -
upon a steady tone bring on the vibrato with slight pulses gradually increasing with control of the throat
(always open up your throat for best tone! Use syllable of hah or hoh etc.)and stomach.Air control plays a very important role...and no slight movement of embouchure please.....
saxes -
depends....lip vibrato is optional for certain music or ones preference such as jazz. Throat vibrato is much steadier in intonation so it really depends.

hehe, no I'm not just bored and have nothing to do. I'm in Music Ed right now, and we're supposed to be asking this to other music students, but this is just as easy.
