ok, i am in 7th grade and i am the only (reliable) bassoonist in the wind ensemble (*cough* 20 people *cough*), well this year we had to play bacchanale (no problem....except for that really fast part)anyway, now we have to play capriccio espangol and i am one of maybe 5 bass players, about half way through, there is a fast part, and then later there is the same part but the articulation changes, none of us, expept for the baritone player, can get it right.
Any Suggestions?!?!?!????

I've had similar troubles on some peices i've played before. i've asked many different band directors and such if there was a quick fix, but alas there isn't. what you need to do is slow the section down and play it slowly. then when you can play it through speed it up gradually until you can play this section correctly and up to speed.
