1st thing - my flute isn't broken
I had band pratice on friday : I could not even sight read grade 2 music whitch is easy for me... i could not play any scales whitch i know ... i could tell you the scale verbaly but i could not play them
Later that day i went to my lessons ... I could not play anything at all soo... i thought it would pass so i waited untill saturday to start playing again
Saturday:I knew how to tounge but i couldn't do it ... i tried all my tounging excerises but that didn't work nor could i slur ( i sounded really bad)
Sunday: I forgot my notes
monday: band!!! what am i gonna do !!!
I am really scared!!! what am i gonna do, has this happen to anyone eles ... ugh!! nothing has been right without my playing :(

Yeah I've had the exact same thing happen to me before in the middle of a rehearsal. I was sitting there playing, and I started analyzing what I was doing. I scrutinized and re-evaluated every breath, the movement of every muscle, the position of my lips, etc. Suddenly I found that it no longer felt natural to do any of it, and it became very difficult to play anything at all. Eventually though I just relaxed and everything became natural again. I think if you're flute isn't broken this is probably what you're doing, over-thinking how to play.

that's happened to me before, if you think to hard on what you are doing then You kind of forget how to do it for a while...It's kinda of funny how that works.
