I've checked at home and what I have is a fingering chart for a Dizi. I don't know if this is the same as a dongxiao. Can you describe your bamboo flute and I will see if it matches the one in my chart.

I have Dizi and I've been trying to find a fingering chart for it forever. Do you think you can send or post it? Thanks! Btw, it says its in the key of F, but even if you have a different key one, I still think it would be helpful, so please see if you can email/post it! Thanks again!

Dizi is played Horizontally like Flute (So it is called Chinese Flute and Flute is a kind of Di in Chinese)

Dongxiao is played Vertically like Clarinet, Recoder etc.

I am also interested in a fingering chart. I have an F and B flute, and if you were able to come across a chart, I would really appreciate it if you were to pass it along.

Thanks!

I have links of fingering charts for dizi and xiao. These links are in Chinese. Send me an e-mail if you want one so I can send you just one link. Please let me know what key of your Dizi/Xiao (in western or Chinese nomenclature).
