they do not differ too much from reeds abroad i propose.
there are professionals who make reeds for small distribution for the public here in malaysia but thats WEST malaysia which is one sea apart....haha.....so until the end of the year when i get to tour to west malaysia only can i get the reed from one of the professionals....
i've done some research on the net and it seems that there a lot of suppliers which provide hand made reeds but i still can't find a really decent site that i can rely on and supports international delivery WITH SECURE ONLINE INCRYPTION ORDERING.....so pls help me! i need a good reed for the band's concert on august, although that sounds far but i will surely want to test the new reed first and get myself easy with the hardness of the reed. maybe someone here can make a reed for me?

i believe you can get reeds from private tutors which are also players in the major orchestras(MPO, NSO).For example i think MPO'S oboe player(not sure which) provides private lessons and makes reeds for his students. Are you from west Malaysia?
