If you can find a midi program on computer somewhere, they usually have a transpose feature that will allow you to transpose music up or down any given number of half-steps.

Take all the notes on the alto part and move them all up a perfect fourth. This will give you the tenor notes.

Moving everything down a perfect fifth (alto to tenor) would produce notes that are an octave lower than what would be coming out on alto. It makes sense because if you consider that a tenor sax is pitched lower than an alto, you would naturally have to play higher notes on the tenor to match the notes of the alto. Thus on tenor you play tones that are a fourth higher than the alto part. You would move every note down a fifth if you were going from alto to soprano (since the soprano is pitched higher, you play notes that are lower to match an instrument that is pitched lower).
