I'm having trouble. on my soprano sax, my Bb key is sticking. does anyone know how to unstick it without going to a music store? I've tried the paper under the key and that didn't work.

Try running a dollar bill under the pad a few times.

um, i live in Canada, there are no dollar bills here, just dollar coins(called loonies). and i've tried that idea with just a piece of paper, it still was sticky after that.

Well, supposedly it has something to do with the type of dye they use on U.S. bills that keeps the keys from sticking. Canadian money probably isn't printed in the same way, so hmm... I guess if you really wanted to you could exchange a few bucks for some greenbacks, but that seems like a lot of trouble for an idea that may not even work!
My advice? Switch to oboe.

There if a kind of paper called pad cleanning paper I have a friend who got it and it works really good its also really thin. She says that it came with her sax cleaning kit but i think its possible to buy it alone at a music store.
Hope this helps.
