Hi! I'm trying to find the price on an Eb soprano clarinet. It's a Buffet and the serial number is 101403 (if that tells the age). By the way...how old do you think it is? The pads were replaced 2 years ago, but it still needs work done (the pads don't seal well). Any help would be appreciated.

Is the fingering on an Eb soprano clarinet the same as on a Bb i.e. plays the same notes in the same fingering positions?

You can get a rough idea by checking out ebay under musical instruments/woodwinds/clarinet and search Eb Clarinet from that page. Your local music store could also give you a rough idea. Check out a new one, and figure about hald the price for a used on.

yes it does if you remember that the instrument is an Eb instrument and therefore needs transposing
