I have a new reed. The high notes (c and higher, above the stave) don't come out. How can I solve this problem?
Also any suggestions on how to play these high notes, I sometimes stuggle getting them

Did you make this reed? Does it crow C? Maybe with more information something could be done. Is it your instrument possibly? If you didn't make it, where did you buy it? Without more info I would say trash it.

it depends on the the hardness of your reed if you use a hard try a medium hard or if your using a reed that is to soft they wont come out either. for playing higher octives work on tightening your ombusure enough
