what is the highest note possible on a clarenet (i know ill never reach it) and how do you finger it (i'm just curious, i can barely reach a D (hi-high) )

The highest note that has a fingering on this site, is a G7, which is an octave above the G with four ledger lines, above the staff. It is fingered like a high A, but with the 3 right hand fingers covered. If this doesn't make sense, look at the fingering charts on this site.

For very high notes, the exact fingering is not important, because every fingering has so many different harmonics that embouchure and breath pressure are much more important. Just about any fingering will do as there will be a combination of embouchure and breath pressure which will give you the right note. There is no theoretical limit to the highest note on any wind instruments such as clarinet, sax, flute or horn. The highest practical note for normal use is C7, below the G7 mentioned above.

Well, depending on your hearing health you can produce a nice B-flat. Humans have a hearing range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, if you're lucky. Conservative estimates put our hearing limits at 40 Hz to 15,000 Hz, a bit more than 9 octaves. The note vibrating at 40 Hz is a quarter step between an E flat and E natural, while the note vibrating a 15,000 Hz is a slightly sharp Bb. This is all in concerct key, but in terms of clarinet this would be the fifth C above the staff, or 3 more C's above the C7 mentioned in the last post......good luck. Yeah, I know this information is of no use to you, but it makes for interesting factoids.

Just to let all of you know, a High G is not the Highest Note, it is a High A played with the left middle finger and the right pinky key

it is just your first finger (pointer finger)
An easy way to put it is puting your fingers in the regular 'E' position with your thumb and first finger, the just taking off your thumb. For the next octive, it's played just like low 'B' natural, but you put your thumb on the register key.
