Hi,
I'm an amateur saxophone player since 34 years back that has used the fingerings of this site for a long time. Learning to play above the standard range has certainly not been easy and it has take a lot of experimentation and struggle to remember which fingerings work best on which instrument (alto, tenor, baritone).
This led me to the idea of making a journal app where you can track each instrument you play and what fingerings work best for each. If you augment the existing fingering directory with scores that the user can input (simple 1 to 5 stars would do), connected to a given instrument and mouthpiece, I believe I could make something really useful with modest means. I'm a professional software developer and could whip up a prototype of it quite quickly.
Would you be interested in such an experiment, or at least be ok with me using your hard earned fingering data to build it? I will not charge users anything for using it nor ask for any compensation. It would just be a fun hobby project.
Cheers,
Christofer

I'm afraid I "track each instrument [I] play and what fingerings work best for each" with a pencil and paper.
Sorry!
Btw, if you're interested in saxophone altissimo fingerings, and great tips to make the altissimo easier to play, check out Sirvalorsax on YT. This bloke has a killer four-octave range, and a genuine willingness to share his knowledge.
