Hey all,
I want to run a bluesy, growly passage from altissimo Bb down through A and G etc and only know fingerings up to A.
It's a clarinet solo I'm transcribing off of Gonzalo Bergara's B-612 and the solist is Rob Hardt.
Any help appreciated.
Playing a 1950's Buffet Crampon/Evette with a Morgan J5
thanks

This works well: High A fingering plus throat G# key alone

with hard reed and close mouthpiece, try just 2nd finger on left hand. Maybe add register key

I find that a D shape (all 6 fingers, thumb and register) with the C#/G# left-hand pinky and low G#/C# key is very consistent. Don't know about the transition from that to an A, though.
