i just receintly got an ocarina. it was a pretty cheap one so its not like one of those really good ones.... but i really want to learn some songs for it... but i don't know what kind it is so i can't find any charts... i keep looking them up but all i find are ones for four holes. um, i don't know if this will help but its got 7 holes on top and 1 on bottom, it's pretty small and fits in the palm of my hand, it's shaped like the ocarina in the legend of zelda game, and it says alto c ocarina on it... any help or finger charts would be great thanks.

A couple months ago I found my old ocarina. It's a G made by Gretsch in the USA. Cir 1940. Same hole config as yours. I never thought about fingering charts. I just play it by ear. I did see a chart once. I'll look around for it.

OK here's one that you can may be use,

It's got too many holes but the right hand is the same and you can adjust the left one. You should play with it. Lifting a finger slightly off the hole will give you a 1/2 note (those are the + marks on the chart) as well as many other configurations that will give you many ways to make music. Hope this helps princess.
