Hi,
I'm a young composer and at the moment I'm writing a piece for five instruments, one of them peing clarinet in Bb. The best book about clarinet special techniques I could find was Rehfeldts "New Directions for Clarinet" (yes, I know, there are better ones, but I could find them).
The writer wasn't all that clear about the multiphonics charts, I think it was in this forum that someone sair that also in Boks book some of the charts were written in C, some in Bb. So just to be sure, I would like to check, that all the charts written for clarinet are transposing? I used the three chords written in the pages 98, 106 and 110 in the 9th print of the book and I would like to be sure that everything is all right.
So please check the file I've attached. Is the fingering for the open note chord ok and do I get soundig result written in black notes?

Sorry I didn't see this message until now, almost a month later. I also can't see any attachment, so I don't know what fingerings you are talking about.

Terve Miika
I just saw your message today but maybe my opinion still helps you.
For the first fingering I got another result. The lower note is d, yes but for the upper note I got a c and it's also possible to get a higher e out of it. I play the french system so maybe this has an influence if you write for the böhm system. Also these things depend pretty much on the instrument and the player himself so it's kind of hard to find solutions work out for everyone.
The second example works for me, but I also got the d below the g sharp above.
In th third fingering I don't quite understand what you mean with the "0" above. Should this be the a-key or the g#? In that case I would draw both of them and fill out the one to be pressed, then it should be understandable.
Hope to have helped you. Don't hesitate to ask.
