I hope someone can help me out

I just rented a flute today. I haven't played in over 15 years (when I was in the 4th grade), but I've managed to remember many fingerings, though a few notes still seem to be eluding me. I looked at this website's fingering chart and realise my flute has a different button configuration.

I seem only to have three options with the left thumb keys, whereas the fingering chart shows four.

I rented a very basic student flute, so I'm confused why there is not that extra key.

Thanks for you help.

I don't play the flute myself, but I've looked at the key layout chart:

http://www.wfg.woodwind.org/flute/fl_fing.html

It only shows two keys for the left thumb: the B key and the Bb key.
