Hi every1, i just wanted to know what is the best way of playing the low notes of a baritone saxaphone for a long time. I've only been playing it for about 6 months. So my music teacher tells me to loosen my ambisher but that isn't exactly working. So help me PLZE!!!!!!!

Torus, your answer does not seem to be helping at all. Do you know the answer to this one? If so, would you care to elaborate? If not, would you please restrain yourself!

I play the alto sax(used to play tenor sax) now and I don't play the bari sax...but I have some tips based on my experience...better than Torus' ones...LOL. ^_^;;
1. More air ^_^;
2. Try opening up your throat, like saying 'awwwww' in a low voice.
3. Your teacher is right, relax your embouchure. Since the tenor sax requires a relaxed embouchure than the alto and soprano, then I assume the bari requires an even more relaxed embouchure.
4. Make sure your posture is correct...a bad posture can affect the air flow in your body thus affecting the low notes to speak.
That's all I could think of. Hope this helps.
