Hi,
Although I manage to tongue reasonably fast I would like to learn how to double tongue. I've read up on many methods but frankly they all lead to no success or more honestly "they make no real sense.." and I was wondering if anyone with self experience could tell me exactly how they learnt to do it. Thanks

I play clarinet and flute and yes its easier to double-toungue on a flute, but to double-toungue on a clarinet try to tap the edge of the reed like the top, instead of the middle. its so much easier.

I always heard from my band director's, band camp technician's and private teachers that clarinet players never need to learn to double tongue.
