I have recently started playing Tenor Sax in my school's concert and jazz band. I play Clarinet in Marching Band, but I think that I enjoy playing Tenor more. Right now I'm using the 1 of the school's Tenors and I was wondering what the price range would be to buy a Tenor Sax. I'm hopeing to get a Selmer or Yamaha, depending on quality and pricing. If you have any info about prices, please e-mail me! Thanks!
ps- is there anywhere else on the net to get fingering cahrts besides http://www.wfg.sneezy.org/????

Tiff, go to ebay.com and look under Tenor sax, you will find pricing from 200-4,000. more important you can watch what the market is bringing for each model and learn a lot about the Tenor sax.

If you're looking to buy a used saxophone to get you throught school, if would look at a trusted music store. For decent student brands look at yamaha or selmer (Yamaha makes really sturdy student brands) or if you're going to buy a professional quality to use for big performances and solos and all, look at selmers, keilwerth(Boosey+Hawkes), and Buffet Crampon. Have fun with the tenor, it's an amazing instrument.
Saxy Boy (and oboe too:)!
