The difference is that the soprano is a Bb instrument, the soprano is an Eb instrument, so you must transpose just like a bass clef Euphonium player must transpose to play a treble clef Euphonium part. This might help:
Soprano Sax Note = Alto Sax Note
C G
C# G#
D A
D# A#
E B
F C
F# C#
G D
G# D#
A E
A# F
B F#
This also works for the Tenor Sax. So if you can play an Alto you can play tenor or soprano using this chart.

I will recommend you this site http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/martin_carter/
there is a program called Sax Tutor and the Author is Martin Carter, you can download free. With this program I learned all the fingerings on the Alto Sax, so when I began my formal classes in music I already know the fingerings.
