hi my name frank, i live in malta, i just retired from the malta police corps after 25 yrs service, i've been playing the clarinett for the last 30 yrs even in the police band and now i bought a tenor sax and i want to learn to play because i like jazz music.

well...where to start....start playingon 2 reedsand play about ten munites at a time just use tha fingering charts hee and play random do this for a week and then buy a method book doesnt matter what kind and learn how to play your sax! then if you like jazz check your local music store for jazz band or sax quartets this will get you started
