 Regaining lost skills...

I used to play Bb clarinet in school and I was a fairly decent player back then but gave it up for about 20 years. I recently bought a used clarinet and would very much like to regain my playing ability. I remember most of the fingering but I was exhausted after 15 minutes (out of breath and sore cheek muscles)of practice. I can't remember, is this normal at first?! What reed should I start off with, or does this make a difference? Any recommended embouchure exercises? Thanks for your help!

If you were really out of breath, use 1 size 1 reed, then next practice use size 1 half, two more practices use 2, so on.. for your fingering, use method books (eg. I recommend, 3-D band book, Essential skills).
