Even though I'm 6'5" and have above average sized hands, I'm having difficulty reaching the lower notes.
Any tips or suggestions? Stretches? Different grips? Hand surgery? ;^)

Surgery seems to be a rather radical solution. I would vigorously discourage that! Hand excersises and streteches would probably be the best solution. Consult a physical therapist if you can. Don't want to over do the stretching either.
