I just recieved an 8 holed ocarina and have no clue as to how to play it. It has 6 holes on top and two on the bottom. Just about every site I go to has fingering charts for the 4 holed zelda type ocarina and those dont help me at all!!! If anyone has any helpful information i would much appreciate it.
Thanks
Ryan

I have the exact same problem. I know how to play a couple of songs on the ocarina, but there's practically nothing on the web about an 8 holed ocarina. If you're interested in buying songbooks for an 8 holed ocarina you could probably find that on eBay. I've found that some of the most simple, yet best-sounding songs are some from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. If you are interested in learning to play song from Ocarina of Time, you should probably start off with Zelda's Lullaby and The Song of Time.

Yea I just got an 8 holed ocarina too. 8 on top 2 on bottom right? Anyway I have been searching and searching. I guess I'm going to have to order a book or somehting. I'm not even sure what kind of Ocarina it is. I found I pic of it and it kinda looks like a G4-C6, in the key of G, has 10 holes. But I really have no idea. If you guys find anyhting about it let me know and I'll do the same. TTYL.
