Does anyone know anything about the M2 Gemheinardt? Is it a discontinued student model? Any input on quality for entry level student?

I have looked in the Gemeinhardt 2002 Flute Catalog and there is not Modle M2 Student Flute listed. Mybe it is from another companie. Gemeinhardt does not have a M2 Modle in any of there levels of instrument.

Hi,
I bought an M2 Gemeinhardt for my daughter. It is a Sterling Silver head, body & foot with silver-plated keys. It compares to the present model 2S, but it is probably quite old. I think ours is about 20 years old. It has a lovely tone and is very dependable. Hope this helps.
