Basic sax playing is most likely easier than playing a clarinet. Mastering a sax sound takes time though.
A skilled sax player can pick up a clarinet and play a few notes and make it sound like a sax more then a great clarinet player with no sax experience can.

Yes but you haf to haf e-x-p-e-r-i-e-n-c-e.. But aren't most clarinet scores harder then sax? With more running notes and all?...

haha it sounds like none of u are sax players I have to admit to lean from clairinet is easy BUT to make it sound nice, solid, not honkish (like most sax players do when they start out) is very difficult but if u put ur mind to it u can do it I started in 7th grade now I'm in 9th and I made regionals, I'm the best sax player in the band (besides the 2 seniors and 1 of the juniors that leaves 6 more)
