Hi,
Just wondering what are grades...?
You know some pieces are for example grade 3 or whatever
Next question, how do I know my grade? I can (well "almost") play the mozart clarinet concerto (622) and I know all my major and harmonics minor scales, so what does it approximatively means?

The grades means the easy to hard or some pieces has the scale to sast to avdancved. In this case u can play mozart then i will say u can play any grade.

YOU don't have a grade. the music gets a grade. also grades are usualy assigned to concert band music. i don't think when mozart was writing his clarinet concerto he said "i think i'll make this one a grade 4". oh and a grade tell how difficult the piece supposedly is. grade 1 music is apparently easy and filled with whole, half, and quarter notes. grade 6 music is considered the most difficult and is usually filled with notes of all durations and making use of an instruments full range with tempi of varying speeds.

Grades are the level of music you are capable of playing. The clarinet concerto movement 2 is Grade 6 and the 3rd is grade 8 in the UK Royal Associated Board of Music. Grades range from Prelimery to Grade 8. Most people do from Grades 1 to 8 and may skip some. After grade 8 there are recital certificates which allow you to put letters after your name etc.
Grades are also used for band music. These range from 1-5 with 2 exceptions in big band music a level 6 was formed due to 2 exceptionally difficult pieces been written. I hope this helps
