I play flute too. yeah, that's hard. How long have you been playing? High notes, sadly, come with practise. Try to make the aperture really small and blow harder (not out of control though)...also, try moving your jaw forward a little..well hope that helps...

Just remember to keep the airstream very small. The width of the airstream should be small for all notes, but the higher you go the harder it is to get notes out with a wide stream.

A small airstream does help, but I have always been taught that you do not blow harder as you get higher - you only go out of tune. If you have a B foot w/a gizmo key, pressing that helps it come out.

Okay, I have been playing for a year and 3/4. It is quite complicated to get it out, but I only first got it out when I tried to see if the noise would echo outside. Well, strangly, I could get out the high D, which is two half steps higher than the C. Try not to blow too much. Roll out or in and see if that helps.

well, i was just a natural. Basically everything I try works.... but i do have a word of advice: keep the airstream small and fast and make sure your fingerings are correct.
