Hi all ! I'm the saxophone and trumpet player for 4 yrs and now begin to self-learn the clarinet. What's up clarinet have 3 kinds of fingering system? Any idea?

yea hey i've been playing clarinet for 6 long years and i never knew about the 3 fingering chart things but its all good nothing to worry about if you have someone who knows how to play it it will be ok

The clarinet jumps registers by the odd harmonics rather than the octave (even harmonics). The natural consequence of this is what appears on the surface to be different fingering systems. Thus the low F is the fundamental (i.e. first harmonic) and the C in the middle of the staff is the 3rd harmonic. So these two notes have the same fingering except for the addition of the register key. It is NOT an octave key as the clarinet cannot be made to jump an octave.

*Boehm. But it depends what system your instrument uses, howeve chances ae it'll be Boehm seeing as most clarinets nowadays ae Boehm system.
